My custom formulas are disappearing

In the past I have created a simple formula to add up rubric scores to a final score (either a simple SUM or SUM with a divisor). I put this in the "Grade" column of the second tab (Ingested from CR...). I also inserted columns to add number of days late and a final score so I can subtract late points. 

Now when I do this, and close and reopen the spreadsheet, and click "Look for new submissions" (e.g. for late work), my formulas disappear. The numeric totals that were calculated previously are still there, but they are now just the values; the underlyign formula itself has disappeared.

PS Comments I have left also disappear from the sheet.

Interesting, I see what you are saying. I did a test and had the same outcome in terms that the output from the formula only left the values after clicking "Look for new submissions".

I know that the doctopus code has not been modified but am curious why this is a new behavior. I will touch base with a developer to get more answers.

In the meantime I would work around the issue by perhaps only imputing the formula after all submissions have been received or placing the formula on a new tab.

I am also having this issue, and since students hand things in late all the time, I will need a way to apply formulas before all students have handed in work. Hoping for a solution soon. In the meantime I will try using a separate sheet.
