Does Doctopus still work?

For the first time in two years (I retired from teaching but am currently running a workshop) I tried to use Doctopus to create a class.

It created all of the individual student folders just fine, but failed to populate them with the Class View and Class Edit folders.

Then when I tried to create an assignment (to 8 project groups) Doctopus hung forever, despite multiple restarts, never completing the job.

So, I know that Google has changed from allowing multiple copies of documents to using shortcuts for everything. Has this broken Doctopus?

I have been using Doctopus for years as well and have recently trained my staff on how to use it. I am experiencing the same issue. For the first time the Class View and Class Edit folders are not being populated. 

PLEASE there is no better way to distribute the files we need to the numbers of students that my staff teaches online. Support for Doctopus is necessary so please continue to support it's users. None of the shortcuts are as quick as doctopus. 

Please do not let Doctopus fade away, I believe more and more teachers will use this product as the paradigm of education continues to change, not just for students but for teachers as well.
