Problems with the CopyDown add-on

Hello!

The copydown add-on simply stopped working on my spreadsheet.

The last shipment made on 02/09/2020 at 14: 18h was executed correctly and at 15: 14h it no longer worked.

Is any maintenance taking place?

I had to give new permissions today.  Try opening CopyDown and you should be prompted to give the permissions.

I ended up uninstalling the add-on and installed it again. Sorted out.

I use it in a spreadsheet that has automatic ID creation and formulas to transfer guides for approvals. I was startled when the copy stopped working.

Are you able to setup CopyDown or doesn't it copy the formulas?  Unless I need the copy and paste feature of CopyDown, I use arrayformulas.  See arrayformulas

It doesn't copy the formulas down. I have a simple split formula and it just won't copy. The add on is open and recognizes it.

It stopped working today at 9:43am on another sheet and I can't get it to start again on that one either. This is a huge problem. I have all the info going to data studio and the info needs to be up to date all the time.

In my spreadsheet I found that the copydown does not work if I leave the main formulas filtered or hidden.

Is your spreadsheet like this?

Did you try an arrayformula?  If you share an example spreadsheet with GLUA...@gmail.com, I will try to write an arrayformula.  

You can try turning the trigger off, closing CopyDown and the spreadsheet.  Then open the spreadsheet and setup CopyDown.

I should just try it lol. But copydown has always solved the problem of formulas not copying down on a new row when a form is submitted. So the array formula would work on new rows added? 
Would you happen to know if arrayformula can be used to keep number formatting to 0000? Having that issue too.

An arrayformula works on all rows in the column.  a2:a says start with row 2 and do all rows below it. 

An arrayformula will not copy the formatting like CopyDown does.  You can use the text function to control the formatting.

Did turning off CopyDown and closing the spreadsheet, then open and turn CopyDown back on work?

An arrayformula does not work if you must use the copy and paste values feature of CopyDown.  If you are building a case or invoice number based on the row number, then you can never delete a row or it will renumber all rows after the row you delete.  You can use a number derived from the timestamp because that shouldn't change even if rows are deleted.

The advantage of an arrayformula is that I have never known it to fail.

Thank you to all that have tried to help with this. I have deleted CopyDown and re added it. I turned it off and on again. 
This is what has been happening with CopyDown and the ArrayFormula. 
I cannot rebuild this as this is a health screening form for  parents to fill out before the child enters school and the data is pushed to DataStudio. 
In order for the information to be filtered by date, I needed to split the date and time from the Form timestamp. Column D has the split formula. Column G has the array formula. Nothing is working correctly.
Help!?!?
