Autocrat puts information about newly generated file on the wrong row

When I run Autocrat, it populates four separate cells with information about the merged document, called:
Merged Doc ID - Contract Generation

Merged Doc URL - Contract Generation

Link to merged Doc - Contract Generation
Document Merge Status - Contract Generation

Needless to say, that information is supposed to appear on the same row in the spreadsheet as the source information.

In my case, the new file ID information is put into the correct columns, but in the wrong row, generally about 4 rows above the correct row.

Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas how to fix it so that Autocrat populates the correct row?

Thanks in advance.

David

This usually happens when data was deleted for an entire row(s) instead of deleting the entire row.

This confuses Autocrat.  I'm not sure why.

The easiest way to fix the problem is to select a new output destination from the Google form.

Then rebuild the merge job.

This happened to me. Due to the complexity of the spreadsheet, I was unable to select a new output destination. After extensive investigating, we discovered that this was happening after a blank row was inserted (or contents were deleted but the row was left blank). Deleting the blank row solved the issue. Try searching for a blank row, and delete it if you find any.

I'm happy you found a solution.  Was the information added by Autocrat in the correct row?

I suggest starting over because it can be difficult to get the status information in the correct row when it is not.

I think the rule is to never delete data but to delete the entire row when using Autocrat.
