Error adding email addresses as editors, sending emails

Hi. I have set up Autocrat to merge a document and then share this with two people via email. The email addresses are found using a vlookup formula. The document is merging correctly, but I get this error message:

Failed to add d....g@t....l.org e....s@t.......l.org as editor: API call to drive.permissions.insert failed with error: Invalid permission value; !!Error Sending Emails: Invalid email: d....g@t....l.org e....s@t.......l.org

Any help would be gratefully received! Thank you!

I don't think you can share a document with two people as the editors.  Can one of the folks be given Share with Edit at the Folder level?

Ah! That would explain it. Thanks - I think I can make it work with the folder as a work around.
