Duplicate documents being sent over and over

I have been using Autocrat for a few months now with no issues. Form is completed Google sheet is filed in and Email with filled in template document is being sent to the set up emails.  But recently with in the last week or so emails are being sent over and over again for the same entry.  
 A co worker told me to check the status column- that if it was empty it could cause this.  So I reviewed this and found that the status column that should have the information in it didn't and there was information in a status column that shouldn't have information it it.
 I was also told that to correct this I should try unlinking the google sheet and linking a new one.  But was unsure if that is what I should do.

My guess is that someone deleted some information instead of deleting the entire row.  That caused Autocrat to be confused and thus the errors you are seeing.

Yes, starting with a new response spreadsheet usually fixes the problem.  You have be careful to copy the status columns to the new spreadsheet.

You could use the vlookup function to match on the timestamp.  There is no one easy answer.

I would make sure you have a copy of the original.  Where you will have a problem is the new spreadsheet will have all of the rows that are in the form.  That may be more than what is in the original spreadsheet because some data was erased.
