Hi - We've been using Autocrat for years to generate and send PDFs when a new form is submitted. Recently our triggers have stopped working. We've taken the initial troubleshooting steps of logging all google accounts out, deleting the job and recreating it and disabling and re-enabling the triggers. Any one else have this problem?

I noticed this problem today. Looks like it might have started on Friday. I'm trying to troubleshoot, but no luck yet. Does anyone have a fix?

Hello,

I know you said you tried to reset the triggers, did you reset them from the 'manage triggers' settings in the Autocrat modal?
If not, I would try that:

Make sure you are logged into only one Google account and then toggle the triggers perhaps while in a Chrome incognito window. Then go to "Manage triggers" and check that the triggers you want are enabled:

1. disable the trigger and click SAVE
2. enable it again and click SAVE (very important).
3. After that, go to the job, turn on the time/ form trigger, click SAVE(very important).
4. close Autocrat. re-open Autocrat, go to Manage Triggers page, make sure you can see the Trigger Owner info and My Triggers info.

Then submit a test form submission to see if it is working. Thanks!

(just as a further note, make sure your Google form and spreadsheet are on your Drive, Autocrat triggers will not work with files on a Team or Shared Drive.)

We are experiencing a similar issue where our Autocrat form triggers had been working and then they suddenly stopped working. We have tried following the steps previously outlined but to know avail. I understand that it is possible to send a user key to the Autocrat developers to help determine if they can trace the particular errors that might be logged when the jobs are run. How do we go about getting the user key to the developers privately (without posting to a public forum)? Is there a particular email group or user to which we should send our user key for additional troubleshooting?

Hello, Thank you very much for this procedure. I had the exact same problem and after strict application of your procedure it works perfectly. Have a good day Benoit

Hello,
I was having the same problem of not having my merged documents created automatically on form submissions and followed the steps above but to no avail, unfortunately.

Manage Triggers was indicating that form triggers were on, my Autocrat job had the triggers turned on but things were not working. So I decided to take a look at Autocrat configurations on the hidden tab "DO NOT DELETE - Autocrat job settings" and there I found out that the cell "Run on Form Trigger" was set to FALSE. I then updated it to TRUE and my documents started being merged and created after some testing.

Just would like to share that 'solution' with the community and also with the developers as a way to further understand the root cause.
And thanks for this great tool!
