ERROR
Error: Tags fetching failed. Please make sure type in all tags in your template manually. AutoCrat won't fetch tags that are from copy & paste.

I have retyped all info and reinserted images. What now. This is a certificate with an inserted border and an inserted logo.

I was able to run a similar document with a different border earlier.

This one is not easy.  Some features of a Google Slide prevent Autocrat from seeing the merge tags.

I would start with an empty slide and put in the merge tags.  Then go through the 1st three steps of setting up a merge.  If the merge tags are found, add some more items to the slide.  Try again.

Eventually, you will discover what feature you are using that is causing the problem.

I would First design the entire certificate in Slides. Then add the merge tags. If you are merging any images, they need to be publically available, not from your drive.

I'm having the same error.

I tried your recommendation "I  would start with an empty slide and put in the merge tags.  Then go through the 1st three steps of setting up a merge.  If the merge tags are found, add some more items to the slide.  Try again." but the same error still occurs.

How do I fix this?

Did you try an empty Google Slide with one merge tag to be sure your merge tag can be found?

Copy <<merge tag>> to the template and change the "merge tag" to your tag.  I have seen rare cases that the <<>> are not recognized when typed.

Can you share the template?
