I am trying to name each merged file based on a student's name, which is one of my tags. I entered the file name as "<<Student Name>> Parent Info Sheet 2026" but it's not pulling any of the student names in the the file name.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I normally only add the tag <<Student Name>>, not the sheet name

Thanks for your response, Maryna. I just gave that a try and unfortunately it's still not working.

I’m sure you’ve already tried this, but when I’ve run into this in the past,  I delete <<Student Name>>, and then go to my parent info sheet and copy the header from there and paste in the merge document and add the << and >>.  I swear, my typing has been identical to the parent response sheet but by doing this, it then works.  No idea why!  But again, you’ve probably already tried this.

Thanks Chrisie! You're saying you copy the header from the parent sheet, paste it into the file name spot in the job details and then add the angle brackets (<< >>) around it?
