Issue: Extra First Page with "Template" Appearing in Autocrat PDF OutputDescription:
I am using Autocrat to generate and send PDF results for a Strength Test based on responses from a Google Form. The merge works correctly, and the generated document contains the right data. However, when Autocrat generates the output in PDF format, it adds an extra first page with the word "Template" on it. The actual results start on page 2, which is incorrect.
Key Details:
- The Google Docs template itself does NOT contain the word "Template" anywhere.
- When I run the merge using Google Docs format instead of PDF, the issue does NOT occur—the document is formatted correctly.
- The extra page appears only when Autocrat generates a PDF.
- There are no extra blank lines, page breaks, or hidden formatting at the start of my template.
- The document has no headers, footers, or title page settings that might cause this.
Steps Taken to Fix It (But Didn’t Work):
- Verified that there are no extra spaces or page breaks at the start of the Google Docs template.
- Checked Autocrat settings but found no option to disable an extra title page.
- Tried adjusting Google Docs page setup and margins, but the issue persists.
- Created a brand-new Google Docs template from scratch and tested again—same issue.
Question:How can I prevent Autocrat from adding this extra first page when generating a PDF? Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a known fix?
Thanks in advance for your help!
