Hi Joe, the limits on a personal account have changed. Curiously no longer any mention of each address in an email counting towards the number of emails sent.

'You have reached the limit for sending emails'

You may see this message if you send an email to a total of more than 500 recipients in a single email and or more than 500 emails sent in a day.

When you see this error, you should be able to send emails again within 1 to 24 hours.

To prevent this from happening in the future, try creating a Google Group of all your email recipients and sending the message to that group's email address.

See limits. Can you share a link that shows a new limit for the free accounts? I could not locate where the limit changed.

It is my understanding that emails sent via a script have a different limit. I don't see a 500 anywhere.

I suspect a Group will not work because they want each email and attachment to be unique to that row.

Hi Joe, so if a script is not being used "my linked" limits would apply, if a script is being used the limits are as the developer's link you give.

I'm not sure. I would trust the quota numbers rather than a help solution. I don't see anything about when your link was updated. I don't see anything at mine either.

I asked Bard and I see a 500 limit on emails per day. Things at Google change so frequently that I never know for sure what to trust.

What is actually happening is sometimes the most correct answer. Autocrat stopped sending after 100 emails and that limit has not changed.

Per google:

I am not getting any message like "You have reached your sending limit". I am able to successfully send emails through this account (as you can see because I'm sending this email successfully to you and you are successfully receiving it)

I'm able to manually send emails from my account (that's how I confirmed the limit has not been reached)

As I look at your setup, you are sending three emails per row.

That would be 33 rows before you reach the 100 emails per day using an Add-on script.

There are two limits listed. I always thought the limit was the 1500 number when the email was sent by an Add-on.

Here is a small spreadsheet that contains a script that will tell you your remaining quota. Display remaining quota The first time you click on the check quota, you will be asked for permission to run. Follow the prompts.

Remember that each email counts. If one row sends to three email addresses, that will count as three in your quota.

Once the spreadsheet has been given the approval to see your data, you just have to open the spreadsheet to see your remaining quota.
