AutoCrat willnot load

I have been using AutoCrat for over a year. I have been trying for a week to start a New Job, and the extension will not load once I click on New Job. Anyone else?

Are the spreadsheet or template on a shared drive?

Does autocrat run on a personal account?

You might have to talk with the IT or Workplace admin.

I recommend just using https://www.nexopdf.com/, it replaced everything I did with Autocrat in a much intuitive way and it's free

Be careful.  The free version has a limited number of PDFs.  Investigate and use at your own discretion.

I'm getting the same issue as original poster; I don't want to move to another extension if I can help it because I find Autocrat very intuitive, but I've got a time-sensitive print job that I need completed before EOC retakes next week.

I've been trying on-and-off since before Thanksgiving,. While jobs I have already set up will run just fine, creating a new job or attempting to edit a job with broken tags results in the never-ending loading screen. 

I was able to delete the job with the broken tags, but the inability to create a new job persists.
  • I have deleted my cache/cookies/etc for all of time
  • I have tried in incognito mode
  • I am on a school-district managed account with google suite
  • Neither the spreadsheet nor the template are on a shared drive
  • Autocrat will run previously-made jobs but will not allow new job creation for anyone on our team
I see that I should contact my IT or Workplace admin, but do you have any tips as to what they're looking for? (I know they'll ask me what they're supposed to be looking for, or tell me it is working for them and just shrug at me)

I'm sorry you are having this problem.

See if autocrat will run on a personal Google account like @gmail.com.  Preferably on a different network.

If it runs, there is something in the Workplace settings or system settings that is blocking the creation of s merge.

If it doesn't run on the personal account, you know that there might be something on Autocrat side.

Are there other merge jobs on this spreadsheet?  Did you try a new spreadsheet?

Sometimes, the best thing to do is start over.
