I have updated autocrat and for some reason a merge condition that indicates only to run when the "Send?" column equals "Yes" is not not showing anything previews available even when multiple columns indicate "Yes." Is this an error in the new version? Thank you.

Do you mean multiple rows?

Autocrat will not process a row with anything in the status column.  Is that the problem?

I am having the same experience -- no merge conditions are working. Whether I set the merge condition value to the cell contents or specify that it run on any NULL or NOT NULL contents, the merge fails every time.
The new job I created today does not work; old jobs that previously worked do not.
Nothing is in the status column for any rows.

I did discover something since I gave up and posted here.

I set a formula to put "y" in a column "cash" if column "Bookkeeping" equaled "cash", but of course the formula made each row NOT NULL. I thought I could get around this by copying and pasting values only, but it turns out that I had to delete the contents of each supposedly-NULL cell individually.

Still, I haven't any luck merging a column based on a specific value -- I should have been able to parse each row where "Bookkeeping" equaled "cash" without this klunky workaround.

Can you share a copy of the spreadsheet, and template with me at GLUA.Joe @ Gmail.com.

Autocrat is looking for an exact match.  If there is a space as in "cash ", I don't think it will work.

Because of the way numbers are stored, I can see the need for a formula to create a text value.
