Tags Fetching Failed

Error: Tags fetching failed. Please make sure type in all tags in your template manually. AutoCrat won't fetch tags that are from copy & paste.  

How can I do on this? Thanks

Did you create the template by using a non Google source?  Word or Excel?

Delete the merge tags and type them.  If that fails, create the template from scratch.

I create the template by using google slides in google drive.  Before this, I succeeded many times.  Don't understand what caused. Any advice to solve.  Thanks

I've had issues with tags lately too, especially if I update the document. I've had to select a different template then reselect the one I really one. Then it fetches tags again and data merges properly.

I have had good luck by clicking on the USE as indicated in this snapshot.  That seems to force Autocrat to reload the template.

Hi,

I had the same issue. My problem was that I had a shape with text in it. I removed it and the problem was solved. Is this your case?
