Hi,
I would like to ask if this issue is still part of the recent Autocrat
update.
Currently, when using Single Output mode, only the first row is being
generated, while the remaining rows are not included. This setup was
working correctly before, so I'm wondering is this behavior is related to
the ongoing updates or if there is another issue that we should check.

Thank you for reporting the errors you are experiencing following the V8
update. This update to the V8 version of Google Apps Script was required by
Google. Because Autocrat is built on Apps Script and relies on Google
services to function, we had to implement this change.
Unfortunately, this transition has not been as smooth as we hoped. Our team
is actively investigating the issues raised in this thread, which primarily
fall into three categories:

*Google Quota Limits:* A common error many of you are seeing is:
GoogleJsonResponseException: API call to docs.documents.batchUpdate
failed with error: Quota exceeded for quota metric 'Quota group for write
operations' and limit 'Quota group for write operations per minute' of
service 'docs.googleapis.com' for consumer 'project_number:539341275670'.
We believe this is directly related to a Google API quota limitation. We
have already contacted Google to request a quota increase for Autocrat and
are currently awaiting their response.

Since the update and reauthenticating, an Autocrat job we have that merges
with a Google Slide (so we can have custom page size) has stopped merging.
In the setup it finds the tags, but when it merges it doesn't merge the
data but just gives the resulting file as exactly the same as the

I have done ALL of these steps yesterday.
I have disabled the triggers.
I then went back and clicked to step 9, and selected the Form Trigger.
You can see the job "working".
I then saved.
NONE of the form triggers work.
I created a brand new Google Form, Sheet, Mail merge, creating a brand new Form trigger.
It does not work.
It only works when run manually.
1. Open the Autocrat modal and navigate to Manage My Triggers.
2. Verify that My Triggers has both a form and a time trigger listed underneath.
3. Disable the triggers and click Save.
4. Re-enable the triggers and click Save.
5. Go to your specific job, click through to Step 9, turn on both the form and time triggers, and click Save.
6. Close Autocrat entirely.

I'm experiencing an issue with Autocrat when using *Single Output Mode*.
When the job runs, the merge tags are not being replaced with the
corresponding field values from the Google Sheet. Instead, the merge tags
remain unchanged throughout all pages of the generated document except the
first page, it merges the first row but not the following rows.
Has anyone encountered this issue before, or is there a specific setting
that needs to be configured for Single Output Mode to work correctly? Any
guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, having a similar problem here today 11/06/26 - Single merge document,
with the first merge working but all subsequent entries being the tags.
Running the job as a multiple Docs job works perfectly, just one single job
Last time the job was run 23/04/26 - absoulutely fine.
A resolution to this would be good.

Since the Autocrat update released on June 9, we are experiencing an issue
when generating a *single combined PDF* from multiple spreadsheet rows.
Expected behavior
When selecting the option to generate one combined document/PDF, Autocrat
should merge all records and produce a PDF containing one correctly merged
report per student.
Actual behavior
- The first report is merged correctly.
- All subsequent reports in the combined PDF contain the original merge
tags (e.g. <<ExJunNLSol>>, <<ExJunTot>>, <<Lln>>, etc.) instead of the
corresponding data.
- The remaining pages appear to be copies of the original template
rather than merged records.
Additional observations
- When generating *individual documents/PDFs*, all reports are created
correctly.
- The issue only occurs when using the option to combine multiple merged
records into a single output document/PDF.
- The spreadsheet data and merge tags are therefore valid, since
individual merges work without any problems.
- This behavior started after the June 9 update.
Environment
- Google Sheets + Autocrat
- Merge template: Google Docs
- Output: Combined PDF
Attached example:
- Page 1 is merged correctly.
- Following pages show unresolved merge tags instead of data.

We are still experiencing the same issues.
Even starting from scratch we have odd issues.
We can produce individual reports, but when we try to do a single file
output, we continue to have issues.

My google forms that are using autocrat continue to give me an
authorization error. While I am in the add-ons menu and hit open, it gives
me the authorization error on Safari, but I have no problems when I'm
opening these forms and the responses on Google Chrome browser.
I seem to have no prompt or question regarding authorization on the chrome
browser, and even though I am having to manually start the trigger that
should be automated, it will at least let me run the jobs that are open.
Sidenote: I feel as though many of my columns were duplicated with this
recent update...
Please advise.

thing. If clear instructions across all platforms are not given I will have
to go to another platform. The rebuild will take less time than getting in
here hourly and running four + sheets manually.
