Our school district is a Google Workspace for Education customer and have successfully used Autocrat for years. This year, we're getting a "403 That’s an error. We're sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That’s all we know." message when we try to access Google Drive to pull in a new template or to assign destination folders. Recently used templates showing in the Choose template section of Autocrat can be accessed and I successfully created an example template that was saved in my work Google account.

We've checked the Google service APIs (OAuth scopes) that Autocrat is requesting in Google Admin Console and everything is granted. Is anyone else seeing this or know if there is a new setting somewhere that could be causing  us problems?

Thank you!

I'm not aware of any changes.

Try to uninstall and reinstall.  There may have been some permissions changes.

Check with workplace admin to see if they made any changes.

Thank you, Joe. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling with no change to the issue. Our workspace admin actually forced installed the add-on for all staff yesterday with no success.

The 403 is a permission issue the best I know.

Try an incognito window in Google Chrome.

I don't know much about this part of autocrat.

Try on a personal account and see if it works.  If so, there is something wrong with the settings in workplace settings or network settings.

Joe Schmidt...FYI...all the suggestions you're giving like incognito windows, reinstalling, ect are not working. Our Google admin noticed that those of us having the issue have the newest version of chrome. Which means everyone may progressively be getting this error. If you have any ties to the developer, since they dont provide direct support.. please let them know that updates may be needed on their end to work with chrome updates.

I just tested with the most recent version of Chrome and Autocrat works fine.

Have you tried a personal account?

A personal account on a personal computer on a network separate from the school?

Try Edge or Firefox browsers.

You are the only one reporting the problem and I can't duplicate the problem.
