HELP!!!!!! Autocrat not running on trigger

Our autocrat job have not merged automatically using form or time triggers. We don't have any other scripts running on the sheets and aren't receiving any failure messages from the addon. It works fine on other forms without issue.  This form was working then stopped.  Have tried starting a new spreadsheet only to get the same results after a few submissions. Manually running jobs works.  I've already tried resetting triggers and resetting time on the spreadsheet (everything I've seen posted to date to try).  I'm at a loss and need this to run automatically.  Causes great issues when I'm not at work to kick the forms through by manually running jobs.

Hello,

Thank you for supplying your user key. The main error I see on the backend is that the script does not have the ability to access the identity of your account. This can happen either if the triggers were set while you were logged into more than one account; if the file is not on your drive ( stored on a team or shared drive) and/or if the name of the trigger owner account has been changed ( ex: domain name change  or trigger owner account has been deactivated)

Or is it possible you are hitting a Google quota such as:
According to Google, a single account can have no more than 20 jobs for each Add-on. If you have more than 20 Autocrat jobs, then this will could be related to the issue you are seeing. However, under this scenario, I am not sure how the count of triggers would happen, for example, if Google would run the first 20 jobs based upon the time the trigger was enabled or if there is another process, I am not sure but I will see if our developer team has more insight on this.

I just started having this issue today with Autocrat not running when the Google Form was submitted.  I went and checked all the settings and made sure that the trigger was still on for submit and it was.  It would run if I manually hit the "Run Job" button when I first open Autocrat.  We run our whole district discipline on Google Forms and Autocrat and we need this to be fixed ASAP

The Google service interruption yesterday seems to have disconnected trigger functionality and in order to restore automation, make sure you are only logged into one Google account and go into 'Manage Triggers' and disable triggers; click save > go back into "manage triggers' & then select enable. Open up the Autocrat job settings (via the edit icon) and turn on the triggers again in Step 9 and click save.
Then do a test submission to see if Autocrat runs as expected. Thanks!

This worked for me!!! Make sure you're turning triggers off under the "Manage Triggers" function first, not in the job. Save. Then re-enable, save, then go in the job and re-enable. Thank you!

When turning the trigger off under "manage triggers" on the main Autocrat page, you will then need to go into the job and turn back on the trigger within.  Page 9.

I started having issues with AutoCrat not running on form submission on this day as well.  I have been running it manually.  Has a resolution been found? I have went back and made sure my trigger is on.

You can read the solution above.

Turn off the triggers (Manage Triggers) > Save > Close the spreadsheet >Open the spreadsheet > Turn On the trigers "Manage Triggers" > Turn On the trigger inside the job (Step 9) > Save

I also found, in addition to resetting the triggers, that I had to go back and reset the time zone. Once I did both these steps my automatic triggers started working again.

... I solved my problem!! I cancelled everything (for the 100th time) uninstalled the addon, installed Mailmeteror, ran a merge, and when I checked the sent folder, and the autocrat test had finally come through. I don't know why. 

But it worked for the rest of the day and I got almost everything done.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Looks like it needed to be unplugged and plugged back in.

Having the same problem, have been trying what others are saying where I go in and turn everything off, close it all out and turn both time and form triggers back on, but for some reason I can't get it to start working again. Might just be doing something wrong? It does work if I manually trigger a merge to run, but that's it. Please help. : )

We are having this same issue, however, the email account and domain that created the trigger no longer exists. How would we reset the trigger and remove that account? Uninstall autocrat? It is currently installed on our domain. Please help!

AutoCrat is a user-installed Add-On. I would just delete the job in the setup dashboard and start over from scratch. Of course if the original creator also had the templates etc. you'll have to recreate those as well.

Would removing the jobs remove the trigger owner as well?

Yes, because the trigger is set by the owner.

Couple of other considerations: if the sheet that it is attached to owned by the original creator you might be able to get away with just making a copy of the original sheet, renaming it DO NOT USE XXFILENAMEXX and going from there. Then open the original sheet, edit the AutoCrat job, open the merge template and copy that as well. This way you don't lose any data and it will be easy to rebuild the job in the new sheet.

If the time trigger set by the original owner is still working, it will still run until the file is deleted and removed from the trash.

It is currently attached to a form. The owner of the sheet has been changed since sheet creation. I am trying to delete both jobs, but one of them keeps coming back when I open Autocrat again. The trigger owner is not being reset. I will ask the sheet owner to make me the owner and try deleting the jobs again, then deleting and removing it from the trash if that doesn't work.

I'm the owner of the document now. I keep deleting the jobs, but one of them keeps coming back every time I reopen Autocrat. I tried deleting it and restoring it from the trash, but nothing has changed. The previous email is still the trigger owner (see image). I can't delete autocrat and reinstall it because it is installed on the domain (see image). Simple Make a copy of the document. The new file came with no trigger owner.  Don't use the original.
