As mentioned, the Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 bundle includes the doorbell camera and a module that connects the doorbell to Blink\u2019s cloud servers. You can purchase the doorbell without the Sync Module 2 for $49.99, but note that you also need the module to store video locally on a USB drive, as well as to manually record and share live video. The module extends the doorbell\u2019s battery life, and can be used to control up to 10 Blink Indoor, Outdoor, Mini, and Doorbell cameras. If you later decide you want the Sync Module, you can purchase it separately for $34.99. You don't get a discount for buying the two components as a bundle.
Observation: the sync modules in the Blink app are named "Home Outside" and "Home Inside" respectively, but the names aren't picked up it seems? They show as 2 X "My Blink Module" (names for the camera modules are indeed picked up: nice!)

Variety of things here so I will try to answer them in order.
Observation: The sync modules do not get separate names. The name you set in the app are the what shows up for the Network. The API does not return names for the sync modules and really they are almost useless from the driver perspective. All the functions people might actually want to do are from the Networks.
Now that you've successfully built a kernel module and an application that uses it, let's take a look at how it works. From there, you'll extend the blink module to drive three PWM signals to the tri-color LED (similar to lab 3).
