Hi all!
As many of you know, I am taking the thesis option and have been working in Dr. Larson's lab. Briefly, they have found that when people hear their own voice through earphones, and when the voice pitch through the earphones is unexpectedly changed upwards or downwards, people automatically adjust the pitch of their voice.
What we're trying to do is see if we can use this phenomenon in clinical practice, that is, if pitch shifting can be trained. For this, I need volunteers to train the pitch shift for 5 days, 2 of which we do an EEG. We pay $10/hour, which should add up to $50-60 by the end of the study.
If you are interested in participating or know someone who might be, feel free to contact me!
Thanks in advance!
