Exciting news — Jane Street is hosting Figgie and Play in Singapore! Figgie is a game designed and played by Jane Streeters meant to simulate elements of markets and trading. Figgie is fast-paced, exciting, and extremely fun. The game uses a custom deck of 40 cards — two suits consisting of 10 cards each, one suit consisting of 8 cards, and one of 12. Most of the skill in Figgie lies in negotiating trades that benefit both the “buyer” and “seller.” Similar to poker, the objective is to make money over a series of hands. Figgie and Play gives you the opportunity to spend the evening learning and playing Figgie alongside Jane Streeters. Food and drink will also be provided. Spaces are limited, so please RSVP using the link below. Signing up as a team of four is highly encouraged, but we also accept single-participant registrations.
