CHARITY MOVIE PREMIERE OF "MAD CITY"

Join us for the Charity Movie Premiere of “MAD CITY” in aid of the Bone
Marrow Donor Programme at 1930 hrs, Thursday, 26 March 1998 at the Grand
Prince, United Artists Beach Road.
“MAD CITY” stars Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta. A disgruntled
security guard accidentally holds up an entire museum in a hostage
situation while asking for a pay-rise. Meanwhile, a down-and-out
broadcast journalist twists the event to give his own flagging career a
boost. It is an interesting critique of the media and paparazzi and the
power they wield over a captivated public.
Tickets are priced at $12 and $20 and are available by calling our

THE EVENTS
The Singapore Premiere of “MAD CITY” is the first of a series of events
we are organising to raise funds for the Bone Marrow Donor Programme.
Collectively, it is known as the Law Four Production. It is an annual
event put up by the Graduating Class of the Faculty of Law, National
University of Singapore for a selected charity.
We also have planned in the works a Bone Marrow Drive, a party at a
disco and it will culminate in “Distant Drums”, a large-scale musical
theatre performance.
THE CHARITY
This year, we have adopted the Bone Marrow Donor Programme. The Bone
Marrow Donor Programme aims to find bone marrow matches for those
suffering from leukemia. Leukemia is disease that limits production of
white blood cells. It leads to fatalities if untreated and it occurs
usually in children.
At the end of this series of fund-raising events, all proceeds from our
production will go towards that Charity. All funds we raise are kept in
a joint account with the Bone Marrow Donor Programme.
