Intelligent Souls in collaboration with Tree Circle Ceremonies proudly presents a fundraising event with a difference ..... in aid of our Sister Ife Piankhi
For those who know Ife , or have read an urgent appeal that has recently circulated , you may be aware of recent situation’s that have rendered Ife temporarily Immobile and in a serious condition whilst facilitating in Uganda. She is currently awaiting much needed medical assistance .
Who is Ife ?
Ife Piankhi is a versatile artist whose creativity knows no bounds …
Social entrepreneur , formidable educator , creative facilitator , not forgetting Sister , Daughter and Mother .
Ife uses the Arts to unlock the potential/capacity of individuals and communities internationally , working extensively in the voluntary and statutory sectors with in-depth experience in community consultation, mentoring and coaching.
Musical Legacy.
Ife has collaborated with artists such as Keko, Nneka, Mamoud Guinea,
Geoff Wilkinson, Michael Franti, Jonzi D, Wynton Marsalis, Floetry to name but a few.
She is renowned for her ability to interact with audience’s globally and of recent day’s embarking on a Journey of a lifetime,joining 12 international artists for 200 days travelling through 10 African countries. to connect people across the globe by embracing the philosophy of global citizenship, playing a pivotal role in Art Caravan’s first cross-continental initiative called the Great African Caravan.
We believe it is necessary to honour Ife’s work in the U.K and abroad, by delivering a series of fundraising events around London sending healing vibrations her way .
We invite poets, artistes, creatives to get involved!
We hope by coming together, we can raise important funds to help her family hit their target of £12,000 to pay for urgent hospital fees
With official permission from her family, we’re inviting you to take part in an event called "Ife, A Powerful night of Poetry , Prayer and Pumpkin Soup" at ANKH Wellbeing Centre Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 8 PM – 1 AM
