Consulting physician salary

Hello everyone,

 

We have a consulting physician who covers about 5 standing orders/programs for us and agrees to be available for phone consult should we need him. He is great to work with, and all but volunteers his time. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar set up and how you determined what the pay should be?
