Updated to NOS 2.5.1 today and immediately experienced a bug when swiping up to go home using a 3rd party launcher. When swiping up it does not return to/draw the home screen and the usual animation is not seen, instead it goes to a blank screen with just the wallpaper, and requires either a second swipe up or a swipe back to get to home, sometimes if you swipe right you see black/blank recents csrds.
Alec_MAI8lvh3fI this it a late update from my side. I had to look everywhere to find a way to roll back to 2.0.4 unfortunately there was no official functioning way to do this after researching hours and countless of attempts to do a roll back from 2.5 non beta version.
Boom I now had 2.0.4. Nova launcher home gestures or nagivation super great and responsive again, until a week later suddenly it automatic updated to 2.5.1a during midnight without my pre-approval and I was so frustrated.
FYI my investigations points to nothing launcher causing the issues, the stock launcher controls such things as recents cards, when accessing recents you are actually accessing via the nothing launcher not the 3rd party launcher. Logs clearly show nothing launcher cancelling animations which I believe is what causes the issues
I agree I would much rather use a 3td party. I had been using nova prime since 2010, best purchase ever but recently switched to Microsoft launcher as it offers pretty much all of the functionality I use and is actively developed. Nova unfortunately has not had the development of old of late, even the v8 betas are buggy as hell on A14 (on my pixel 7 pro anyway).
