Please find attached a new guide on booking events in Feinberg space.
Importantly, below and in the guide, there is list of catering alternatives to Sodexo that NU has contracted and we can book for our events. ECers, we can discuss in the skype meeting tomorrow.

Dear VEMS users,
We are excited to announce that the NU Office of Procurement and Payment Services has finalized six new catering contracts, in addition to the existing Sodexo catering contract, for NU Preferred caterers to service both the Chicago and Evanston campuses! These contracts went to effect on June 1, 2016 and each of the below caterers offer a variety of services from drop-off catering to full scale events. There is a discounted pricing structure for each new vendor and the lead contact is ready to take NU orders.

The contracted caterers have all signed Northwestern’s Event Rider and provided their Certificate of Insurance. These two documents are considered part of the contract, therefore you will not need to obtain either if using any of the contracted caterers. Use of any non-contracted catering companies will still require the using department to obtain the Event Rider and COI for each event.
For use in FSM classroom spaces, please note that all food and drink must still be set-up outside of any classroom space, and the Ryan Family Atrium must still be reserved for any catering orders in the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Building. Each new caterer should be able to provide rented tables/linen/etc. for your event or meeting.
Finally, we have received great feedback regarding hosting events in Feinberg space. We are excited that these new catering contracts are one, new way to make events in Feinberg space easier to manage. We hope to have more resources for you soon, including a new resource guide in the upcoming months. We want to continue to provide tools to help with event management at Feinberg, and welcome any feedback you can provide on ways we can continue to improve.

This is great news as SODEXO is often totally overpriced which is why we go OFF campus to hold most events with food.
