Hi All,
We just made available the first production release of NUnitLite,
version 1.0. Most features of "full" NUnit that don't depend on having
a separate runner are supported.
It wouldn't have been possible to do this without the help of a lot of
people and especially all the contribution Tyrel made, taking over
release management for NUnitLite while I was away.
The next major release of NUnitLite will be 3.0. We're skipping 2.0
because NUnitLite now becomes part of the NUnit project and the
version numbers will henceforth keep pace with NUnit. Any
framework-level feature that's added to NUnit will also appear in
NUnitLite.
Although we won't be making another release of NUnitLite by itself,
you can continue to report any bugs. If you post them to the NUnitLite
project, we'll automatically consider them for 3.0. If you post them
to the NUnit 3.0 project, please indicate that you were running
NUnitLite when the problem came up.
If you're only getting this message on the NUnitLite list, you may
want to consider subscribing to the NUnit-Discuss group on google,
since future discussions there will also pertain to NUnitLite.
To download NUnitLite, go to our Launchpad project page at
http://launchpad.net/nunitlite. You can also find it on Nuget.org.
The release notes are available on NUnitLite.org.
