Hi alltogether,

I'm wondering whether my tests appears twice in Test Explorer, when I build my project:

The test will also be executed twice.

The testproject is part of a Solution. If I create a completely new project, declare some testmethods using NUnit, the tests will appear only once. So there is something wrong with my solution/testproject, but I have no idea, where to look for the reason and how to solve this behavior. I also have installed Faker.net, NSubstitute and NBuilder - but the behaviour doesn't change when I uninstall these packages.

I have no more informations, but I hope, you can help me or ask specific questions

I'm using Visual Studio 2015.

Thanks in advance
Michael

Hi Michael,

Try changing the display to see if the two tests remain and if they are listed together or separately. In particular, try listing tests by Fixture and by Assembly.

Also, what adapters do you have installed globally (via vsix) and locally in the solutin (via nuget packages)? Is it possible that the test is being detected by two different adapters?

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

great - thank you very much. I've installed the NUnit Testadapter twice - globally and locally in the solution. After removing the globally installed NUnit Testadapter, the tests appears only once.

Thank you.
Michael

Strange! That may be a change in behavior on the part of Visual Studio. We'll watch for it.
