I'm limiting this announcement to the developer list because the agent can only be used, at this time, by the latest -dev versions of the TestCentric GUI. But it will soon be coming to a GUI alpha release and possibly to the NUnit3 console runner, so I think it will be of interest to those following this list.

Pluggable Agents are engine extensions which are able to launch agents to support runtimes not directly supported by the runner itself. The version 1 GUI has been able to use them for a while and version 1.0 of this agent has been available since last March.

The future approach for the GUI - and possibly also the NUnit runner - will be to make all agents into pluggable extensions and bundle a set of the most common agents with the runner as dependencies. There are currently development versions of both the .NET 4.0 and the .NET Core 2.1 agents.
