rOpenSci Champions Program & Community Call

We are pleased to open the call for the second cohort of Champions and Mentors for the rOpenSci Champions Program! This program will continue to support our goal of identifying, recognizing, and rewarding passionate community members who help the community grow and improve.

You can apply, for being a champion or a mentor, until September 4th.

We are hosting a Community Call on July 25, so you can learn from other Mentors and Champions and get tips for submitting your application.

We will have two coworking Champions Application Clinics in different timezones (Aug 17 and Aug 23) to provide help with application to the Champions Program.
