Good Day Everyone,

This is to let you all know that Michelle Ash, our Chief Operating Officer, will be leaving Acacia with immediate effect. I know that many of you have worked closely with Michelle over the last two years and am sure you will join me in wishing her all the very best in the future.

With the departure of Michelle, I will now be resuming direct responsibility for the operations and the Mine General Managers will again report directly to me. As you are all aware, following our recent poor performance we must make sure we deliver to our plans going forward in order to realise the potential of our business and our people, and also to regain the trust of our investors. I am pleased to report that October has been a good start to the quarter and has delivered in line with our plans.

I appreciate that Michelle may not be the last colleague we will be saying goodbye to over the coming weeks and that we have some challenges ahead. I look forward to your full support as we move through this critical period and remain confident we will come through it a better and stronger organisation.

Once we have got through this difficult period and the business is back on track I will reassess the situation as regards any replacement COO.

Regards,

Brad Gordon
