Ancient Systems of Self-Discovery
Throughout history, many cultures have used systems of self-discovery
to gain deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the
universe. One of the oldest systems, dating back 10,000 years to the
Babylonian and Egyptian civilizations, is the science of numbers.
Both of these highly advanced civilizations believed that we could
understand the substance of everything through its corresponding
vibration or number. In other words, they believed that each number
represented the outer form of a unique principle or idea expressed in
nature.
Pythagoras, a 6th century B.C. Greek philosopher, mathematician,
astronomer and astrologer taught that numbers are not the cause of
events but rather illustrate the fundamental order and measure of the
universe. He believed that numbers are the first thing of nature -
that if we understood numbers, we could then understand nature itself.
Seeing that we are all a part of the greater whole of nature,
Pythagoras theorized that we could also discover and calculate each
individual's unique vibration as well. This led Pythagoras to develop
a system that we now call numerology, the science of numbers.
How does numerology help you discover your life purpose?
By calculating the four main numbers from your birth date and name,
numerology helps you discover your unique gifts and the major
archetypal roles you are developing as the basis for right livelihood.
Through the brilliant contribution of Pythagoras we now know that our
unique calling or destiny can be revealed by analyzing the fundamental
vibrations or numbers we were born under! Not only has his system
survived the test of time but when I share this system, even with my
most skeptical clients, they all say it is "spot-on
accurate!
