Many people ask if life is absolutely predetermined why do we need to
do anything at all? Why can we not just sit back and let everything
fall in place? On the other hand if our effort is of paramount
importance, why not set aside Astrology and go ahead with full gusto?
Well, Vedic Astrology and its purists will have you believe that
everything is predetermined. Yet, there is a school of thought that
says life is a blend of the the predetermined and that which we
influence with the choices we make.
So, the good news is that you are in control, to a large extent! There
are periods more favorable for some activities and unfavorable for
some others. You could have an entire week that is very favorable for
your career and not so favorable for travel. So you could put off your
travel plans and focus on dashing your resume across to various
companies. That way you get a quicker response from these companies
and avoid the travel snags you would have encountered , missed
flights, lost luggage.....are we not all familiar with that?
Similarly, lets say you are having trouble in your career. After many
years of working at it, you haven't reached as far as you had
expected. People far less talented than you are getting ahead of you.
You wonder what you are doing wrong. The answer is - NOTHING! The
career you have chosen is, quite likely, not in harmony with your
chart. You can spend the rest of your life trying to work at it and
the progress will continue to be below your expectations. The answer
is to simply opt for a career that IS in harmony with your chart. Swim
with the tide than against the
tide.
