Hello all,
Quick question - I'm looking at a question about set theory, and sometimes the answer is the empty set, entered as `set()`.
At the moment, the preview renders this as "{ }", a pair of curly braces with nothing in the middle. I feel like it should show the symbol for the empty set, ∅, instead.
Can anyone think of a reason why that shouldn't be the case? Is the empty set symbol sufficiently basic that any question involving sets would assume you know what it means, and won't want to also test you on recognising it?

Hmmm the empty set is pretty basic but if it is the first question on intersections or something and the answers are multiple choice and written as JME code then there might be students that are wondering what the zero with the line means, maybe there is room for a simplification rule that displays it the non-default way? I don't think there will be huge problems however you decide to go with it.
