Hi there

It has been pointed out to me that if you click on several options in a Choose one from a list question sequentially without pressing Save, sometimes the question is marked anyway. This happens if the text of the option rather than the dot for the option is clicked on. The issue also seems more likely to happen if there is a delay between each click. See screenshots on page 1 of attached file, and notes on page 2.

Also, if you click on something generated with MathJax code in a question it is sometimes highlighted, with a question mark. If you click on the question mark a whole box of Help for MathJax Expression Explorer pops up. See screenshots on page 3 of the attached document. This might be a bit off-putting for students.

The questions in the screenshot are in this exam. I put it together to demonstrate the problems.

I'm not sure whether these are considered  'normal' Numbas behaviours and I've just never noticed them before.

Regards
Adelle.

Answers are automatically submitted when the input element loses focus. So you were probably clicking just outside the label text of a choice, not directly on it.
If you can make a screen recording of something else happening, please send it to me.

The question mark above maths is a new thing in MathJax v4. It's supposed to help users discover the accessibility functions, and I'm not keen to remove it without a good alternate place for that information.
