Hi,

I am using Burp Suite v1.6 and I am betting error message "The client failed to negotiate an SSL certificate to xyz.com:443: Remote Host closed connection during handshake" while interceoting traffic for a web application.

Note: Java installed in my system is 1.6.0_65.

Thanks in advance.

Do you see any enteries in Proxy | Options | SSL Pass Through ?

If you see the entry for the server you are trying to connect to, remove that entry and try again.

Add Burp SSL certificate into trusted root of your client or make your client to ignore the certificate errors.
