IP Spoofing will not work over HTTP, as the underlying TCP handshake will fail with the spoofed IP address. In simple terms, if you will send an SYN packet to the Server address stating its coming from “Shree” and "not Roopa", the server will reply a SYN-ACK to the “Shree” address and not yours (remember server doesn’t know who Roopa is). So, the connection will not be established, as the system at the actual “Shree” address will drop SYN-ACK packet (she has no clue what’s going on).
Thumb Rule - IP Spoofing is generally a good idea for a one-way channel where you send, but don’t expect anything back for your mission to succeed.
PS: I will not suggest you to trust such public proxy-servers with your confidential data, but they can be leveraged if you want to view some public pages or check functionality without sending any PII.
