Dear All ,

I am having some issue with Burp Suite, when i am putting my burp to capture https traffic its giving me this error :-

The client failed to negotiate an SSL connection to site_name.com:443: no cipher suites in common

I am using Burp Suite Version : Burp Suite Professional v6.1beta

Just to add here : before sharing my doubts with you from my end i tried all this steps:

==>
1. Start burp
2. Configure firefox for loopback proxy (127.0.0.1:8080)
3. type http://burp in firefox.
4. Click on CA certificate, and download it.
5. In firefox Goto Options > Advanced > Certificates > View Certificates > In Authorities Tab > Import the downloaded certificate .
6. Restart the browser

==> i also refereed Installing burp's CA certificate:-

==> Also i have deleted all the certificate from my browser then also it is not working,  i tried changing my browser as well .

After doing so many troubleshooting i am not coming to solution.

Kindly guide me.

Regards,
Nilesh

Sometimes the version of Java gives such problems. Either downgrade java or upgrade to latest, whichever is applicable.

also just a check run a ssl version enumeration tool like say sslscan or simmilar on remote server and make sure it has  atleast one ssl versions simmilar to what you have configured on your burp settings.

refer screenshot for burp settings.

besides this keep a check on alerts tab sometimes you are required to configure JCE http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jce-7-download-432124.html

You could also try to use Fiddler instead.
