Prevent dde injection in libreoffice excel

Hi team,

I was going through this article https://payatu.com/csv-injection-basic-to-exploit The article says to disable = so that no cell begins with that. If we have an app which takes customer data where the cells are starting with = , is there a way to programmatically ensure that attacks like dde are prevented.

My follow up question is has anyone played around with registrymodifications.xcu Is there a way to modify this file so that it ensures high macro security
