Hi,

Attached is a draft invite + information booklet + 2 forms. I want all of you to take a close look at all the files. These are all from last year, but updated and edited. Devyani's been great help in getting this done. The graphics are by a friend of Arnab Basu of 2nd Year. Now, please proofread these and hit me back with your corrections/suggestions/feedback. These have to be sent out this weekend to the various colleges. There should be a meeting on Tuesday, Inshallah. Will let everyone know by Monday. Expect all hell to break lose.

Hi,

Just noticed the following in the documents sent:

 

There is no bowling in the sponsorship brochure; but it is given in the participation confirmation form. Similarly, cycling has been mentioned in the sponsorship brochure but not in the information brochure. Basically, the sponsorship brochure and official invite mention 12 sports, the pre-invite 11, the participation confirmation form 13 and the information brochure 11. There is also a grammatical error in poin 4 of the section titled 'How to confirm participation' in the Information Booklet. The information booklet also states that football is to open for men and women and that each team must have 11 players; but isn't women's football supposed to be 5 a side or 6 a side (i forgot which).

hey.
in the information booklet, under the heading DETAILS OF SPORTING
EVENTS, it is written that for table tennis 'Doubles matches will only
be played if both teams win a singles match each.' i think we should
have a doubles match even if the team looses two singles.
