The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, in partnership with Internews and USAID, invites you to the virtual launch of its newest guide book, "Ethical Guide for Filipino Journalists."

A product of rigorous research and a series of consultations and discussions with fellow Filipino journalists, this document aims to serve as a tool to guide journalists and newsrooms on the ethical conduct of journalism.

It provides not just the core ethical principles of journalism, but also key events in the history of the Philippine media where journalists confronted various ethical dilemmas, and the lessons that can be drawn from them. More importantly, this book details some guidelines on practicing journalistic ethics, amid the emergence of social media and online platforms as today’s main sources of information.
