Hey folks, thanks for calling this out and being patient, we have updated the model parameter to make it clear that the edits API only works with text-davinci-edit-001 or the code-davinci-edit-001 model.
it is clear via the logic, you need more than one call to understand how this is working, and you must change the model to text-davinci-edit-001. im still seeing an issue, as I only get some kind of code back, not text when I try this in python. but im past the 404 error:)
Having same issue as others with the API call via code not working but playground works and shows the following code but using the exact same values in app code does not work (completion api seems to be the only one that works):
It doesn't help to load the data in a new map. Weird enough it is possible to edit the data while loading in Map Viewer Classic without having this error. So it seems to be a Map Viewer problem. Is somebody else issueing the same problem?
We tried your suggestion, but that doesn't fix the problem. When all boxes are unchecked, the edit modus in the Map Viewer turns off as it should. When the boxes are checked again, the same errors appears when we try to save edits. Therefore, it seems like it's not related to the kind of edit options.
I have been trying for hours to export / save my edited videos from Lightroom app on my iPhone. Every single time the video is just exporting as it was originally before I edited it. I have tried so many suggestions on other message boards such as making sure I am not ticking 'original' when exporting. Nothing and I mean nothing is working. I am so frustrated and feel like giving up. Please someone help me. I have taken a screen shot from with the app (where you can see the colour adjustment) and then a screenshot of the exported video where the edit has not been saved. Please help.
The issue I can reproduce is that one applies a trim to a video in Crop mode, and then tries 'Save copy to device' and this saves a video that is 0:00 in length. I have reported this bug w/steps to the developers.
While waiting for a fix, the workaround I suggest is: after making desired edits, back out of edit mode to grid view, and then export the video. This action saves the edits and applies them to the video so that th
What specific edits are applied to your video? Is it necessary to edit at all?
Do all videos fail to export, or only specific videos? Are only long videos a problem, or videos from a specific source?
What specific steps do you use to export? (Save copy to device? Share? Export As? Do they all fail for you?)
EDIT: the original issue was resolved, so the team is still trying to understand how to reproduce
I think you encountered a bug that I can only reproduce with the very specific workflow of importing a single video and editing it immediately without first exiting the import workflow to visit the grid. Something about editing a video immediately after selecting it in the import workflow isn't letting Export > Save to Camera Roll work as expected.
2. after importing a video, edit the video, and then exit the import workflow by tapping the 'checkmark' button before trying export -- this will commit the video import and edits to your Lightroom library. Then, re-openining the edited video and using Export > Save to Camera Roll will work.
2. after importing a video, edit the video, and then exit the import workflow by tapping the 'checkmark' button before trying export -- this will commit the video import and edits to your Lightroom library. Then, re-openining the edited video and using Export > Save to Camera Roll will work.
Does this help at all?
The workarounds we know are the ones I already shared, and they relate to forcing current edits to commit before trying to export edited video. It sounds like you're seeing this problem even after leaving and re-opening an edited video before exporting. Is there some kind of edit that is common to your affected videos (certain adjustments, trimming time, specific presets..)?
I'm trying to understand, and recreate trouble on my end so that I can pass clear steps to our developers... But I am missing something. Would it be possible for you to create and share a screen recording of what's not working right for you? If you prefer not to share opening, you can click on my name to send me a direct, private message that won't be on these public forums.
I am also having the same issues! I can export photos with edits, but every video I edit will not export with the edits. It exports a copy of the original. I've done all the suggestions and I still can't get it to work. I very intentionally wanted the premium light room to edit my videos. If this can't be fixed soon, than I will need to use another app or software and won't go forward with a premium if i cant export my edited videos.
Using Export As... I was able to save a video with edits applied.
If this is not working for you, could you possibly share a screen recording so I can see the exact steps/buttons you are trying? You can send the video to me privately. Just click on my screen name here to send me a message.
I'm also having this exact issue. None of the fixes listed above have helped. I've tried exporting multiple edited videos multiple different ways even sharing a link with myself and nothing seems to work. Surely Adobe have figured out a fix for this bug by now?
It makes the app pretty much useless as I really don't just want my lovely edits stuck in there forever with nowhere to go!
Hello. Has anyone found or received a solution to this particular issue? I've been unable to export my videos since last Saturday, and none of the above solutions have worked. Thank you for any help you can provide as the product is far too expensive to be unusable.
Adobe, please we need a solution to fix this problem... i see its a problem of the software... if it is necesary i share with you my screen. I try to export the video with all the options. Export, export as, export as mp4, etc...
Depois da ltima atualizao, a verso mbile do aplicativo Lightroom no est salvando as alteraes de edies feitas em vdeos quando escolhermos a opo de "salvar em dispositivo". Agora o app s consegue salvar no celular o vdeo original sem edies.
I am having the same issue here.. I used to be able to export videos from LR, but after the last upgrade I am no longer able to export them. I have tried to re-export videos that I had previously processed and they will no longer export.
I no longer have the option of exporting MP4 files, only H.264, DPX or Original, unedited file.
My main use here is to downsize the video files for mobile devices.. so happy with MP4... just that it is no longer available.
The OpenStreetMap-data is used to create many different maps, often by different people and available on different websites. There are maps you can view with your browser and maps for other programs or even mobile devices (like Garmin maps).
If you are interested in a more in depth explanation of the process of how the main map in the view tab on OpenStreetMap.org gets updated and why sometimes it is very up to date and sometimes not so much, see -often-does-the-main-mapnik-map-get-updated
Assuming that you're worried about the Mapnik view on openstreetmap.org and you've verified that your data has made it into the database (tick the "data" box, for example), you may be suffering from a stale cache in your browser. You can solve this by following these steps:
Load up the map view you've edited, click permalink, then force a full refresh of your browser. In FireFox this is done with CTRL + F5. This action clears your cache and reloads any javascript, as such it will download the latest tiles.
Most importantly, however, I wouldn't worry too much about the rendering; the important thing is that your edits make it to the database, not the fact that you may have to wait a few minutes for them to display on openstreetmap.org.
Updates to coastlines may be extremely long to be reported in OSM's Mapnik renderer (it takes weeks if not months), even if there were enormous errors corrected (like unconnected coastlines: one example, corrected since 2 weeks, is in Britanny, the most western peninsula in France, where the Atlantic Ocean does not fill an enormous block). Other renderers are not affected (MapQuest, OpenCycleMap, OpenSeaMap...).
I am looking to select about 1,000 photos, all of which have edits, flags, ratings, and colors. I will be putting them into a new collection and I want to start over from scratch with these 1,000 photos. I have tried to select all of the photos in Develop Mode and "Clear History" but that doesn't do it.
Highlight all of the images, turn on auto-sync, and click on the reset button. That will reset all images to the default setting that was applied when the images were imported. With all of the images still selected, press 0 to remove all Star ratings. Then you will have to go to the menu to choose "None" to remove all color labels.
Are you running Lightroom Classic (the traditional desktop-focused program) or Lightroom (the cloud-focused app)? Lightroom Classic's icon is "LrC" while Lightroom's icon is "Lr" -- or do the menu command Help > System Info and look at the first line.
My apologies. I realized after posting that it was Lightroom instead of Lightroom Classic. I didn't know there were two versions. Is it not possible to do the batch reset in Lightroom? Thank you for your help!
Thank Adobe marketers for the confusing naming. Best to post your query in the Lightroom Cloud forum, where you'll get better answers (and others with the same question will find those answers in the future):
There IS NO 'History' in Lightroom! But there seems to be a similar function called 'Version' instead, which I appreciate because you can save a version you may wanna go back to later or it automatically saves different versions for you. That's nice,
Rob, have you tested that process with images that have Masks added? In my testing, when using this procedure to reset multiple images back to the original unedited state, it fails to reset any Masks that may have been applied to any of the target images. All other settings are correctly reset, just not the Masks. It would be useful to have confirmation of that.
