Need UI Developer - Direct Client Requirement

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:
The Senior UI Developer provides technical leadership to the UI
Developers working on e-Commerce projects and ensures that the
application architecture and development standards are followed.
This person will also be responsible for the new development and
optimization of the presentation layer.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of projects assigned by their management.
• Lead the development of projects to extend and enhance the
existing
Client’s Application.
• Head up the support and maintenance of assigned of Client’s
websites.
• Lead developers to implement the architecture modeled by the
architects.
• Responsible for Quality Control Reviews
• Work with Project Managers, Functional Managers, Architects
and
developers to accurately estimate the work effort on projects plans.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, DBAs and
Server
administrators throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Consistently communicate the status of their progress to their
management and members of other groups on the project.
• Participate in load testing to find performance bottlenecks in
Client’s e-commerce application releases.
• Coach their developers in areas where needed.
• Account for at least 70% of their development time in our
Project
Management tool.
Mandatory Requirements:
• 4 year degree in a computer science required. If no such
degree is
held, a minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience is required.
• Must be proficient with .NET, Model View Controller Web
Applications, Rapid Application Development (RAD) techniques, Content
Management systems, JavaScript Development, JavaScript Libraries,
DHTML, Ajax, ActiveX, XHTML, XML, XML Parsing and SQL.
• Must have some working knowledge of J2EE applications, Java &
JSTL.
• Excellent communication skills required.
