OK, finally got stuff typed up. Maybe it looks too much just about
python for the book? not sure how important it is. I think its mainly
the example code and the diagrams making up for about half of it (the
images are huge right now btw. .. i also have the svg's if thats
better) .

Let me know what you guys think, you don't have to use it all if
something doesn't fit into the book, if anything it will make some
decent pymt documentation.

In your first code example why is touch_positions global?

mainly to keep it as short as possible and not to have to worry /talk
about the constructor. i can see how this doesnt make al that much
sense this way though..

I would make it an attribute of TestWidget and just refer to it with self.  I think you will confuse a lot of people new to Python, and people will think its supposed to be written that way.  Just my thoughts though.

Thanks for the chapter. I've trimmed it down a bit to fit in the book in terms of length and context. I'll send you the final (cut-down) version, so you can be sure which parts will go into the book.
