Nyoooo-hi-o! This is Nugget, wondering how all of her favorite Tangerines are doing!

We have a really big announcement to make: Monica Marier (she's TA's pencilist, not to mention a head writer, plus the inker on Skeleton Crew and Donuts, and she's also – uh, let's just say that she does a LOT for Tangent Artists), has had the honor of getting her book published by Hunt Press. It's called “Must Love Dragons”, and focuses on the misadventures of Linus Weedwhacker and the Pointy-Eared Party. It has all of the goofiness of Crit, but goes more in-depth, with more heart-wrenching dramatics, too – the whole gamut, really! It comes in two formats: Paperback (only $22.95), or File Download (a laughably low $5.99! That's cheaper than a combo meal!).

What else is new? Well, Tangent Artists now has a table at Nekocon 13. Be prepared to see us from November 5th to 7th down in Virginia Beach – we'll be kicking butt and taking commissions! Nyo! Also, we're preparing some never-before-seen convention-only goodies. What exactly? The Tangent Artists are keeping mum about it... but NUGGET has no problem telling you, heh heh...

Let me tell ya, it involves –

*scuffling...* Nyo? *pinching and scratching sounds* oof! *duct tape tearing sound* Okay, OKAY, I won't tell!

(Artists... they're so touchy... yeeesh)

Speaking of con-goodies, Tangent Artists is rereleasing a Skeleton Crew Issue, “Fright at the Museum!” It has previously been a “con only” comic, but next month we'll be posting it on the website for everyone to read. Better yet, for the run of the issue, we'll be giving you not one page per week, not two pages, but four – count 'em, FOUR – Skeleton Crew pages every Saturday!

But wait, are you one of the loyal Tangerines who already BOUGHT the “Fright at the Museum” comic in person? Don't feel neglected! Just for you, Monica Marier and Dave Joria (the writers of Skeleton Crew) are giving each page a special “Director's Commentary” track to keep it fresh and new. Learn how the project “Skeleton Crew” first got started; how the sinister siblings, Dave and Monica, work together; and maybe even get a teaser about what will happen in Skeleton Crew far down the line. Are you drooling yet?

(Well, stop it... it's kinda icky... ew).

Lastly, Tangent Artists have had amazing success with our Facebook page! Not only is it great to hear feedback from our fans, but it's a great place to post new info and weekly updates. At the moment, we have a whopping 904 fans... but if we break 1,000 fans, we'll pull out the stops and celebrate the occasion with a something special. What is it? Well...

*duct tape tearing* OKAY! OKAY! I WON'T SPOIL THAT EITHER!!!

If you're a Facebook follower, but not yet a fan of TA, make sure that you find us and show how much you “Like” us. If THAT'S not enough to put us over 1,000 fans, then make sure to tell your friends. Yes, ALL of them. Spread the love, as only a Tangerine knows how!

Ciao!
