Moving to .NET Foundation

The NuGet project is planning to move from Outercurve Foundation to .NET Foundation. The timing of this move isn’t solidified, but it won’t affect much when the migration is completed.

· The governance model and technical direction of the project will be unchanged

· The Outercurve Foundation will assign all its intellectual property rights to the .NET Foundation

· The project license will be unchanged

· Copyrights, Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, and other references to Outercurve Foundation will be changed to .NET Foundation

After the change goes into effect, contributors will need to sign CLAs with .NET Foundation even if they’ve already signed CLAs with Outercurve Foundation.
