Eh up all,

I know that next May is a long way off yet, but I was thinking that there would be a good chance that some NUFWAS folk may fancy spending the last week of May in the Northwest Highlands, as is tradition.

There are few better spots than Kishorn, and I couldn't help noticing that "Maranatha" in Achintraid is still available for the week in question.

For some reason the price goes up depending on the number of people booked, but for 6 people the price for Saturday 23rd to Sunday 31st May would be £1192. I know it is a little early to expect people to commit for definite, but I am tempted to book it anyway if I receive some reasonably positive noises.

Alternatively, if there all calls to go to another area then that is fine by me to.

Cheers,

Grinner

Hi Graham,

I'm possibly interested but it might be only until the Friday and afraid can't commit at the moment.

Hi,

We're probably going to be in France tandem cycle touring that week (ferry bookings permitting - they're not available to book until mid-Oct) so we a no at the moment.  Given the other weeks of May will be cheaper we won't hold it against you if you decide to go a different week :-).

P.s. We're planning to be in Scotland for Easter.

We'd be interested, though if no takers could make Easter the bigger trip? Could possibly then do a further south trip late May (island biking? Arran/Jura?).

Yes, I'd be up for some sort of Jura/Islay/Arran trip in May or June time. I reckon for Easter a central or eastern Highlands trip probably works best (can always hope for some snow, fingers crossed).

Cheers,

Grinner
