AGUA

La primitiva ceremonia del bautismo era una experiencia cercana a la muerte, en la que el sujeto bautizado se sumergía por completo en el agua hasta que empezaba a respirar mal y luego salía a la superficie como si hubiera resucitado. La idea del renacer era, pues, algo más que un concepto abstracto; era un acontecimiento real que tenía fuertes repercusiones en la psique. El hecho de que la pila bautismal tenga la forma de un vientre refuerza la idea de un nuevo nacimiento, en este caso no del cuerpo, sino del alma. En psicología, el agua representa el inconsciente, la profundidad, el dominio del alma. Es el mundo de los sentimientos, la intuición, la vida espiritual; la localización de las fuente mitológicas de la juventud y la inmortalidad. Hacer caso de nuestros sentimientos y respetar la intuición nos mantiene vivos y nos rejuvenece. El agua es el símbolo de la limpieza, la renovación y la sabiduría interior.
¿Qué imágenes de agua te impresionan? ¿La superficie tranquila de una piscina o un lago, donde se refleja algún momento importante de tu vida? ¿El arroyo que te invita a pensar en un asunto grave dejándote llevar por la corriente del inconsciente? ¿Adopta la forma de un manantial, quizá de sabiduría, un manantial deseado, la respuesta concreta a una necesidad o a una oración? Tómate un momento y realiza una asociación libre con la imagen del agua y luego escribe todo lo que se te pase por la cabeza.

The primitive baptism ceremony was a near-death experience, in which the subject is immersed completely baptized in water until it began to breathe wrong and then rose to the surface as if it had risen. The idea of rebirth was thus more than an abstract concept, it was a real event that had a great impact on the psyche. The fact that the font has the form of a belly reinforces the idea of a new birth, in this case not the body but the soul. In psychology, the water represents the unconscious, the depth, the domain of the soul. It is the world of feelings, intuition, spiritual life, the location of the mythological source of youth and immortality. Respecting our feelings and intuition keeps us alive and rejuvenates us. Water is the symbol of cleanliness, renewal and inner wisdom.
What water images impress you? Does the calm surface of a pool or a lake, which reflects some point of your life? Does the stream invites you to think about a serious issue with the flow leaving the unconscious? Do you undertake a spring form perhaps wisdom, a spring desire, the actual response to a need or a prayer? Take a moment and make a loose association with the image of water and then write down everything that comes to your head.
