Consejo de los ángeles: “Somos mortales, vulnerables y falibres; sólo poseemos unos días contados que, además, pueden estar llenos de penas, dolores y humillaciones. Precisamente por eso, hay quien piensa que, del aquí el ahora, es mejor olvidarse. Yo creo, precisamente por eso, que debemos apurar el aquí y el ahora hasta el final”

En lo más profundo de nuestro entendimiento sabemos que tenemos los días contados, que sólo poseemos una cierta cantidad de tiempo para hacer lo que deseamos, antes de que llegue la hora. Pero esta certeza nunca debe apartarnos de la esencia de la vida. Podemos contarlo todo: los minutos, el dinero, los hijos, los amores, ... En otras épocas, se contaron incluso los ángeles con los argumentos más extravagantes. Los números son instrumentos útiles, pero los ángeles nos aconsejan que miremos la vida más allá de los números.
Pensemos unos minutos en los números. Puede que tengamos un número favorito, porque somos supersticiosos. En ese caso, debemos preguntarnos si la creencia en los números nos lleva a descuidar el aquí y el ahora. Los números son conceptos intelectuales que nos ayudan a solucionar ciertos problemas, pero el misterio está en el aquí y el ahora. Cuando somos conscientes de la realidad, podemos evitar que los conceptos humanos nos hagan olvidar el misterio.

In the depths of our minds we know that our days are numbered, we have only a certain amount of time to do what we want, before the time comes. But this certainty should never depart from the essence of life. We tell all: the minutes, money, children, love, ... In the past, even the angels were counted with the most outlandish arguments. The numbers are useful tools, but angels advise us to look life beyond the numbers.
Consider the numbers in a few minutes. We may have a favorite number, because we are superstitious. In that case, we must ask whether the belief in numbers leads us to neglect the here and now. Numbers are intellectual concepts that help us to solve some problems, but the mystery is in the here and now. When we are aware of the reality, we can prevent human concepts make us forget the mystery.
