¿Hasta qué punto nos afecta la mitología en la vida cotidiana? Son muchos los arquetipos y los símbolos antigüos que se hallan presentes en la vida diaria, aunque pocas veces nos damos cuenta. Tomemos como ejemplo los días de la semana y veremos que todos llevan aparejado el nombre de un dios. El lunes, cuando comienza oficialmente la semana de trabajo, es el día de la Luna y de la influencia femenina del agua. La próxima vez que tengamos un asunto con la Luna en lunes, deberíamos reflexionar sobre lo que representa nuestro satélite. El domingo es el día del Señor (dómine). El martes corresponde a Marte/Aries; el miércoles, a Mercurio/Hermes; el jueves a Júpiter/Zeus; el viernes a Venus/Afrodita y el sábado se refiere a sabbat, la fiesta sagrada del judaísmo.
Sintoniza con el dios o el arquetipo de cada día. Presta atención a sus influencias y piensa cómo puedes honrar cada símbolo o cada divinidad. Piensa de qué modo puedes influir en tu vida esos dioses o diosas. No pases sin percibirlo delante de sus estatuas o de las empresas que lleven su nombre. Presta atención a todos, pues puede que unos se manifiesten más que otros.

To what extent are we affected by mythology in our daily life? There are so many archetypes and symbols present in daily life, although not very often we realice it. Lets take as example the days of the week and will see that all of them have a God name associated. Monday, when the week of work officially begins, is the day of the Moon and the feminine influence of water. The next time that we have a subject with the Moon in Monday, we would have to reflect regarding what represents our satellite. Sunday is the day of the Lord (dómine). Tuesday corresponds to Mars/Aries; Wednesday, to Mercury/Hermes; Thursday to Jupiter/Zeus; Friday to Venus/Aphrodite and Saturday refers to sacred sabbat,celebration of Judaism.
Tune yourself with the God or the archetype of every day. Pay attention to its influences and think how you can honor each symbol or each divinity. Think how can those Gods or goddesses influence your life. Do not pass without perceiving them while you are in front of its statues or of companies that have their names. Pay attention to all of them, because perhaps some of them may be present more than others.
