Hi all,

Here's a question that we can all answer: when was the first time you got into nudism?

My first time was in April 1990 when I went to a swim night called Sunrays in The Gap in Brisbane, run by John Carpenter.

They used to be held for 2 hours from 4 - 6 pm at a pool in Settlement Road which has now been converted into an AOG church.

I first heard about it because John used to advertise it in the personal ads in the Courier Mail and the Quest newspapers.  I was initially a bit hesitant to go at first, but when I went along I joined in within about half and hour and haven't looked back since.

These days I'm going more for the 'free range nudity' on beaches, clothing optional festivals, and events like World Naked Bike Ride and World Naked Gardening Day as well as working on a girl dominated band to promote nude living and recreation to a younger generation who has seen through the childish narrow-minded politics of the traditional nudist establishments.

Best wishes,
